Well we don't know what is being patented. Could be the angle on the face of the bolt for all we know.

It's just interesting in general that venturi bolts could make a comeback. We've known for years they quiet guns down, and these days with super efficient guns, people might sacrifice a little efficiency for quietness.

my friend made his own bolts that were quieter, he screwed in a brass screw into the stock bolt and drilled holes in a central venturi pattern, with no regs and efficient tuning his guns were as quiet as mine are with regs

I should try get a custom venturi style halfblock bolt ... see if I can make my gun quieter

If you think that is bad I was told I could not use an O-ring on the end of a cocker bolt pin to stop it coming off as someone had a patent-pending on it
O-rings have been used for years on shaft some are they going to patent the whole of the hydraulics systems to start with
