I guess Koa would be able to help you out better than me, but I'll try to help you out as best I can.  If you're set on pump you have to decide open or stock class.

Stock class means the gun only holds 20 balls or less at a time and use only 12 grams as well as have a horizontal stick feed

Open class means that you can use a regular tank and hopper.

For stock class most people get phantoms, for open class I hear good things about azodin kaos pumps, but only handled a friends.  In fact he's selling his pump... here.

Like I said, I think Koa is the expert here so if he says otherwise I'd take his word for it Wink
Good luck and I hope you get into the game.  Grin

The Azodin is a Great Starter gun and So is the Check-It V2 Classic Pump gun. Both around 170 and they are GREAT for beginners.

Because your new to paintball i wouldnt suggest buying a Phantom. The phantom is a stock class Marker. I would start out with and Openclass Marker first , Both the Azodin and the Check-It Classic pump are open class pumps.

Whats your buget/ Price range?

Ok , You can go to Brother Paintball down in Mapunapuna and they have those guns i suggested to you. Not only will u ned the gun but youll need an Air Tank as well. The number for the shop it 808-723-5969 , give them a call and check it out. Once you buy your gun ( if you buy one ) Ill give u a free steely tank to get you started.

Thanks,
Jacob

Haha, already pushing him away from stock class, you really don't like phantoms do you?  And where do you get all these steely tanks?  This is insane man, it's nice, but how many do you have?

On a similar note Larry's gun is in great condition, I would go for his, but it's only a suggestion.

Stock class is fun but i dont think he will have fun starting out Stock Class , its rough playing with a Phantom especially if your new to it.

go for it , Once you buy his pump let me know and ill give you a steely for free if u dont already have a tank.

I think it is ballin' to be running with a phantom because it's hella light, but it's all preference.  So when you coming in for paintball?  Me and Jacob would love to play Smiley  Maybe on a slow day for us refs.

Don't worry everyone was a beginner sometime. Ask for advice from more experience players, and practice, practice, practice. When I first started playing pump seriously, I was the only pump at kbay on Saturday playing against advance semi players. Sure I paid my dues but I stuck with it and now I feel I can hold my own.
