I am not sure when these came out, but they aren't on the PBMafia site yet, apparently there are a couple new small-pod packs out from PBMafia:

"The Hit"

Meant for 2 50-round pods (or larger) and a swab

"The Don"

Meant for 4 50-rounds pods, or 2 larger pods, or a combo, and a swab

Both available here:

I'm not sure if I'd use either of those designs, but it is nice to see continued innovation in the limited-paint/open-class pump area.

Those products are too expensive in my opinion, but they do look nice

Well this site is pricey, I think the MSRP is 39.99 for the 5/50.

The Don surely is ... It's not that much more materials and no more complex.

Heck, it probably has less materials and is less complex

I meant as compared to The Hit, which is the same price as the 5/50

Oh... Either way I'd rather find a cheaper pack and spend the other $$$ on something else.

On second check, the MSRP on the 5/50 is 34.95, so the above site just has a pretty large markup. Direct from PBMafia should be about 10 bucks cheaper per pack.

35 bucks is pretty darn fair for these packs, given that they are made by a smaller label and are somewhat niche produts. They are also excellent quality, higher than most mass produced packs.

There isn't much in paintball that costs the 5-10 buck difference between these and other cheap mainstream packs, and there are plenty of large-label packs that cost the same or significantly more.

Well as it is I have a pretty junk pack (GXG 3+2+2 I think) but there haven't been any incidents where it made me mess up.
