Finally took the time to run this test on my mQ gun ...
mQ2 sniper, '03 halfblocked full-size body, jcurt bolt, WWA pump kit, Pi regulator, Universal T-board @ 4ms dwell, no capacitor. Kaner 14" .682 back. Rat attack dropout QC screwed into bottomline.
Chronod to ~280 fps on a somewhat questionable tank before performing tests. One shot every 3-5 seconds.

standard deviation including first low shot and low pressure hot shots: 6.41
standard deviation between: 4.73-4.96

Couple low shots blew the curve, I'm gonna blame the paint Smiley

But yeah .. about 40 shots for me on crosman 12 grams. Sweet.

Thanks for the test! I'm impressed by the number of shots, but I especially liked how you compared both rechargeable batteries. I was considering rechargeable batteries and wondered how the UTB would do with NiMH vs Li-IOn.

I ... kinda regret getting the Li-ions. Unless it's just these Code 242 ones ... fully charged voltage is like 8.3v.
With the 9.6v NimH, fully charged I get over 11 volts.

Oh, they're the Code 242's? I ran those in a Vlocity for several months, and I felt like it ran slower than alkalines. I even had them go out on me mid-game, with no low battery warning at all. After that, I got rid of them and went back to regular batteries.

Most people give rave reviews to the Code 242s, but judging by the voltages I'm seeing, they may not know what they are talking about. Lifespan might be high, however. We'll see how I feel about it over time.

So for NiMH, did you get the standard 9V size, or battery packs that come with their own harness? The battery clip that came with my UTB wore out from constantly removing the battery to prevent drainage. I saw that they had 9.6V NiMH battery packs for Airsoft that might fit in the LCD frame.

Standard 9vs. I dunno why you guys are getting drainage, I can go like 3 weeks before I need to recharge mine.
