Here is some test video from my barrel cam. People who have not played it yet can get a look at the reconfigured house field at All-Star. Best viewed in HQ.

But another important reason for posting this is to announce the addition of the ability to embed media such as Youtube into posts. You just paste the link and it should parse automatically. A bunch of sites work for video as well as audio.

where is the mic on the cam?  u think drilling a hole in the water cover would help to let more sound in?

The mic is in the front, it would let more sound in but I'm not gonna do it. I don't really think it needs much more sound, but if so I might experiment with parallel sound recording.

Yup. Or another camera, which is the ultimate solution, since a video is best if not 100% barrel cam.

My dad picked one up to mount on his standup paddle board. The quality is pretty crappy but for the price its pretty good. He ended up returning it

I think in any other application I would have returned it. However as a gun cam it's acceptable.

About $80 at costco, comes with the camera, a card, the waterproof case, and the mounts.

ooohh i'd love one! would it be possible to make one out of a orracle body? or maybe one of those lighting bodies, i'm not sure what they're called.

imma let you know when though, i have plans to get one, just don't know when. there's a good posibility that it would be this year though.

You can use any sniper body ... wellll actually, I'd recommend against the superbolt bodies, we had some trouble with Elweer's one, for some reason it didn't work well with the mQ.

The best is a full body (not mini) but minis can work, though sometimes they need extra work.
