Hey HawaiiPB,
I just got WGP Outkast Sniper II and been playing with it, but having little bit of issues.
On the chrono im seeing 260 to 315...BAD
I played with Reg and VIG or whatever, but i cant seem to get the "sweetspot". Although i did get it to stop fart/quacking and works fine.
The marker is mostly stock except for drop,asa,barrel and reg.
Reg is PMI Pure Energy..i read the reviews and some says they get +/- 15 and some says +/- 1
I hoping somsone can help me get it to "sweetspot" and tips, tricks and tactics of pump player.
I used to use my ION and love it, until i got pwned by a good pump players, so far i spent 2 whole days(open to close) with my pump and love it.
Now, i heard and seen Koa EVERYWHERE and Anywhere paintball forums are and i know sometimes you like to flame some noobs.. take it easy on me.. and share some of the pbwisdom you got!
btw i mosly play at Bellows.

well youre asking nice.....and explained the problem fairly well
so you will be given mercy
its the ones that ask like idiots that are treated like them
inconsistency is mainly due to 3 things, Bad Paint, Reg, or too light of a valve spring for the PSI and main spring
check those 3 first

heh  thx Koa I just ordered a WGP classic stock reg like u been using on some of the gun, i seen u posted. paint i been using is good paint. AS for Valve spring....well i think i have to go buy a tool or something. maybe u can hook me up wit your mad skillz this weekend? hoping that i get my new reg in by then. Just paid for it so i should have it by friday. I usually go to Bellows, i know you are broke mofo. Lets barter..you help me sweetspot and etc, i pay for admission fee? Let me know I go sat btw. |

So Today, I got a new used WGP stock reg..it failed..leaking air out of barrel so i used my crappy PMI reg and works OK and no leaks and was able to sweetspot..well not really. I reg down and air is not supplied and as i go up the reg no FPS gain. but its not farting or quacking.
Without paint im getting pop or moderate bang. with paint its MUCH quieter. Problem is i am still getting 20 +/- on chrono.
So i went ahead and purchased a brand new dye hyper 2 inline reg and 13ci/3000 N2 bottle with Myth reg. If this doesnt bring down consistancy i think i might try MADDMAN spring kit.
Any suggestions?

I tried up turn down and up on the WGP reg and it still leaks, but not the PMI one..strange.
You think its the valve maybe?

So you dont think its the valve, maybe bad reg considering WGP reg leaks no matter how high or low i adjust the reg.? Why would a air leak from the barrel? not enough psi?

Koa,
I got Hyper 2 installed it and works awsome and sounds great with +/- 5 to 10. I know regs needs to be broken in before it gets better.
Also got 13CI/3000 Tank.. Its awsome, but only getting about 100 to 150 shots which is enough but is there something you can suggest to improve the air effiency?
Oh and i cleaned the gun and hooked up air to it and im hearing air leak out of the barrel and when i hold the pump back a little it reduces but air still leaks.
