Can't wait ... Can you explain a little more about this valve? What makes it better for HP? What is it made of?

well newer stock valves..and all the aftermarket valves....excluding the CCM(CCM is slightly larger than old stock valves) have large Inputs........old stock is best for 12 grams and HP
this valve has an input smaller than stock
prototype is what we see.....the materials that i end up using will be decided on cost to us....the local sniper2 users

ack the Lathe Broke....its gonna take a while.....plus side is that i get to make some changes for another prototype
i wanna make the holes smaller still....see how small is too small for 450 and 850 psi
if these get working as well as i hope, im gonna need to find a place to do a run of a bunch in stainless
anyone know a good place on Oahu?

after testing it with a mini reg about 300-350...no gauge, i got 100fps more than my fav stock valve pictured here on the right http://www2.hawaii.edu/~koa/stuff/ValveTop.jpgand the valve on the right gets 50 fps more than the valve on the left at 450 psi, and that valve gets 50 fps more than normal stock 99 valves with a 1/4th output http://www.hawaiipb.com/index.php/topic,32.0.htmlbut i need to try the valve at 450 psi....but before i do ill just be doing straight bulk tank CO2, then 12 gram efficiency tests

ok unregged CO2 testing was a mixed bag
RDL body, old valve, my valve
old valve got about 20fps more than my valve...booo boooo
my valve had a stem 1/16h longer than stock stems
cut off 3/64th off, then i tried again with old 97ish body, Fav old valve, and my valve
i got 150 fps more than fav valve
so why? was is the stem? the 2 different old stock valves? the different air chamber?
i didnt have a chance to put that valve into RDL and vice versa...that will hopefully be tomrrow
man testing....takes a while

i shortened the stem and then tested it, same results.....
week later i changed the springing combination form a Blue main and a SUPER light valve, to a Yellow main and a Stock valve spring, i got what i wanted, my valve again got more shots
why? because the stock valve has more volume, so if you slam that thing open further and longer you will get more fps but the idea of my valve is to open it with the least amount of main spring tension possible, using a harder valve spring for more consistency with 12 grams, something that is difficult with lighter valve springs.
well more tests then ill finalize the design

due to the lack of demand, i will in all likely postpone any further work with my HP valve......i have my prototype and thats good enough for now.
