Overall feel is greatly improved. It's hard to quantify the change in feel when you get rid of the hammer assembly, but it is very noticeable. Responsiveness is improved as well.
The two basic things you need to mQ a pump over any other pump are the mQ valve and an electronic gripframe.

Man I'm having an extremely frustrating problem with my gun, erratic velocity/hot shots ... not sure what's going on. Most of the time it is smooth and stable, but occasional hot first shots and random hot shots, maybe 310-320 fps on a 280 fps chrono.
HK, if you read this -- Are you running any of your UTB guns at 4 ms without capacitor? Do any of your mQ2s have sticking/poppet drag problems?

i havent really run the merlin with the utb (thats the only utb gun i have). i did up the dwell on the morlock board to 5 ms to try and get more fps. i'm not sure if the fps issue is due to the board or the wwa kit/cp reg setup. the jackal can hit 300 fps and runs a e2 at 4ms but has a modified ccm kit and sidewinder reg. on the jackal body ive been having issues with sticking. it sounds like a "tic--tack". it was acting up this past weekend. major flux in fps. balls started eventually shooting like 20ft and dropping. i thought it was the new reg (breakin period). it ended up just needing a cleaning. i shot about 200 dry fires with no noticeable sound differences or sticking. prior to cleaning there was noticeable sound differences from shot to shot. i know you probably cleaned and polished the valve already. would say up the dwell more but your already at 6ms. I gave koa a 2200 uf cap. you should do some testing with it. i believe this may help with the fps flux. i know you don't wanna run a cap but it may be the cure. what reg are you running?

Actually this setup runs at 4ms now ... I will try bumping up to 5ms and see if that helps. Or back to 6 even. I am thinking of putting a cap on, it'll be a tight fit but i think doable. I'll try to steal it from koa since he has an eblade for his mQ gun now.
This is what I have done and tried so far: Switching between CP reg and sidewinder reg, both cleaned and freshly lubed -- problem persists Switching between UTB frame and E2 frame -- problem persists (but +70 fps gain with E2 frame) Switching lubes between dow 33 and slick honey -- problem persists Installing fresh plunger dot -- problem persists Freshly charged batteries -- problem persists Shaving o-ring around poppet (loosening it in bore) -- problem persists Polishing poppet bore (loosening it in bore) -- problem persists Flipping poppet face seal -- problem persists Poppet "slot mod" -- problem persists
I seem to have gotten rid of the random hot shots (I think) but still get occasional hot first shots.

so even with the e2 you get the sticking or the hot first shot? and the +70 fps is all the shots including the hot first shot? i know the mq in the jackal sticks more then the one in the superbolt. i have yet to shoot that many balls thru the mq in the merlin to see if the sticks. did you ever test it with or without the white spacer?

I have not yet tried the white spacer, I think i will give that a try. The thing that's throwing me is the day i removed the white spacer, I had a full stick, complete valve shutdown (only heard the pilot popping) and had to clean the valve. When i put it back in i took out the white spacer. So maybe I need to try putting it back in.

Saw it ... I can't commit to buying one at the moment but fully intend to for my E2 gun. Can't really justify this over the UTB though for mQ pumps ...
About time someone put out a board that can actually better the Eclipse board in every aspect.

I just got a Worr Blade with a zero b board and a MQ2 for my cocker and I was wonderiing what settings do you guys use to get the most out of the frame and the MQ.
Also how do the eyes work? IE. how does the board differentiate between the ball and the bolt??
