Project Up and Running (Merlin MQ2 UL'd Pump)

Heres another project I started working on (another mq pump what a surprise).  After some late night milling and early morning soldering its running.  I ran some air through it and seems to be working nicely.  Ill probably chrono it with some reballs tomorrow.  still wanna do something with the body milling.






SPECS:
AKA Raw Merlin Mini Body
AKA Lighting Bolt
MTX 11/16" MQ2
Dye PM5 UL Frame
Scenario Dreams Universal T-Board
CCM 2K Mini Pump Kit

Custom Thread Adapter (9/16-24 to 3/4-20)-to install the pump kit on the merlin
Custom IVG - similar to a rex dialer to hold the mq in place

The UTB is installed with no cap and the dwell set to 4 ms.

Are you using the stock board's buttons?

yeah im using the stock board buttons no membrane pad.  i tried the stock board led but couldn't get it to work so im using the one that came with the UTB.  Im also using the stock board trigger switch.

yeah the ul frame is so comfy i wish the made a single trigger version.

Great idea with the buttons there! Kind of makes me want to look for an old/dead Angel LCD board ...

I didnt play with the dwell at all, so its still at 4ms.  The input pressure is <220 psi and it chronos ~300.

Sorry to bumb an old thread.

How did you use the stock board's buttons and trigger switch. I ask because Im trying to do the same thing but have minimal experience with electronics.

Basically you just solder your leads from the UTB to those switches, rather than using the switch and membrane the UTB comes with.
