yes, i modded the rockband drumset.
its my girlfriend's game. it started when her guitar broke. there are many recorded occurrences of the guitars crapping out. so i followed a youtube video and modded the guitar to swap out the strummer switches (shown in the corner) with some switches similar to trigger swicthes (hey theres some pb tech).
while i had the guitar open and the warranty was already voided i fixed another problem we had with it. The star power wasnt activating by tipping,, it still worked by pressing the select button. so i wired it to a headphone jack.
so that you can use the drum foot pedal to activate the star power.
i still have to make a stand alone pedal/swicth so two people can play drums and guitar at the same time.
while i was looking at youtube i noticed people were cracking their drum pedal. i've seen a friend crack one in half. they sell kits on ebay for a metal plate and some wood screw (that arent even coutersunk), but i figured i can make something better. so i used some 1/8" 6061 aluminum and shaped it to the pedal. i powder coated the tubes and pedal to match. the color is called stardust. it a gloss black base with color a changing flake as seen in the first pics.
yeah so ive been busy in the shop just not on paintball stuff. boo
