Setup: WGP SuperStock
 Benchmark 98 slider
 CCM Deluxe pump kit
 Stock WGP Valve
Blue valve Green Main for springs
CP reg set @ 250-275 psi

New to the pump game.

I read the tuning/farting guide, that helped a lot got it to stop farting. But I want to make it quieter if possible. The pumps in your vids are so quiet. Any tips?  Grin

So changing the valve will help quiet the shot... any preference in valves? CCM, Palmers, Checkit, Madman...

I also want to try other spring combo's out, and I found a place that sell the spring kits that have the yellow springs too. Haven't got them yet to compare to the madman springs but hears the link incase anyone else interested.  Grin

Of all the mechanical valves I've tried (stock early and late model, ACI, Tornado, Rocket, Palmers, a few others), the best luck I had was with the Palmers LT (LP version). I use springs that are basically what CCM uses in their guns. Got a real tight, low-pressure shot, very quiet.

Thanks drg! Sweet, I work like 10 min from palmers I can pick one up today or tomorrow. I know what your saying about those springs, my buddy has a s5 and its nice. And I think I got my head wrapped around the low pressure. You lower the pressure, get a soft valve spring and its the volume of air that gets the shot off. I think that means you need to keep a stronger main spring to open the valve long enough to get enough air to get the right fps. Thanks for putting up with a the Q's  Grin

With lighter spring and lower pressure behind the valve, you can lower the main spring, which is a goal for pumps. Lighter main spring = ligher, smoother pump stroke, so you want that main as light as possible while still maintaining good valve control.

You can use stock internals, just need light springs and use my tuning guide
