I have the older version with the oring piston
and and i remember during the OSC 06 Rod told me about their new ram pistons so got in the new Pistons with the Ucup rings and a shorter ram body from him
damn these things are smooth....wondering if others have used this newer piston?
when i added the new piston i noticed how much faster the ram cycles and just by pointing the gun up the backblock will just slide down the bolt
not leaving good enough well alone I rethreadded the CCM ram so the back barb has a QEV........pulling the ST bomb very slowly the closing cycle is faster than the opening cycle of the bolt....so im ass u me ing that its due to the bomb filling air faster than it can vent it
and here is the new piston with Ucup rings
the new ram cap is shorter and as you can see i redrilled the back end of the ram for a QEV
so when i added the QEV i noticed that the oring does get hit by the new 10-32 threads...but the air path isnt blocked by the oring at all....
when i tested the ram with the QEV on the back and it WORKS LIKE A CHARM...now its faster on the opening stroke using a BOMB, i guess the bomb feeds air fast than it vents air
