I'll add the measurements of the ones I have.

From my valve testing smaller input and output gives higher fps when everything else is the same except psi to sweetspot. Also smaller passageway valves were giving a wider range of psi without blowing off /venting. So nice to know the measurements of the CCM valve. I am curious what you guys think of the test and results if they are in line with what you find.

Test conditions
* no valve spring
* grind all valve stems to extend the same length past the lug nut
* choose a random hammer spring (standard length) and leave it set all the way uncompressed (used deep drilled hammer for this with a slight indent on front)
* held bolt in when shooting
* changed valves, sweetspotted reg psi, measured fps

Valves used
* rocket valve (with no valve spring on it)
* 'some random one' with a large input and output (solid, not spool design)
* two valves from 99 bodies, both with small inputs, one with large output and one with small output, both spool shapped

Results
* rocket valve = sucked at closing, would vent at 225 psi (went down in psi from 300), fps hit about 250 before venting, would not play with as I hate venting and would not want 1/50 shots to do that. fps increased as went down in psi but had that problem of venting. At 220 psi would shoot 280-285 fps holding bolt in and having to recock to stop vent
* 'some random one' = sweetspotted at ~220 psi for 240 fps
* small input, large output = sweetspotted at ~260 psi for 265 fps
* small input, small output = sweetspotted at ~260 psi for 275 fps

Notes
* I only did this test just once, I need to do it again and see if I get same results -- or post here for feedback I am hoping to verify if this is right!
* with the small input/output valve I could turn the psi down to 100 and they would still seal.

Questions
* since small input/output was noticeably better for me the first time through I am wondering if a valve that was not a spool shape (less air flow even still) would product another significant improvement in fps - for example the ccm valve from the looks of it.

From my testing the solid shaped valves performed better, maybe due to a volume turbulence issue

Why no valve spring?
