Please explain. Dont have one what? Valve? While I never did own any cocke that "farted" this is good info on how to eliminate it. My advice to others in the past was just to turn up the velocity (while still operating in under 300 FPS) or use a heavier main spring. I can see now that that wasnt always the best thing to tell them.

Cockers tend not to "fart" because the hammer is drawn back off of the valve almost immediately by the cocking action ...

Ok. But I have seen cockers fart. It wasnt as noticable as a sniper but it was there.

Usually happens with a mech when you pull the trigger very slowly so as to delay the cycle a bit. Properly timed electros or mechs shot with full pulls shouldn't have this.

actually it was....a heavier main spring wont allow the hammer to bounce back after the shot...but it increases dwell time
